Charlotte, an aged woman who’s spent the last 6 months taking care of her husband Eddie (guest star Meat Loaf), is rushed to Princeton Plainsboro for quick treatment after collapsing of respiratory failure at Eddie’s deathbed. With both in the hospital, the husband and wife squad become a big mystery story while Eddie’s circumstance periodically betters while Charlotte’s condition dropping. The urgency of Charlotte’s medical circumstance breathes new life into their romantic relationship, and their regrets of what could have been are replaced with tenderness as Charlotte informs the squad she wants Eddie to have her heart should she die before him. The squad is forced to create a hard choice as both from their lives are coming near an end.
