The urgency of Charlotte’s medical circumstance breathes new life into their romantic relationship, and their regrets of what could have been are replaced with tenderness as Charlotte informs the squad she wants Eddie to have her heart should she die before him. The squad is forced to create a hard choice as both from their lives are coming near an end.
